Who am I?  

I am a parent, educator, and lover of learning. I have been working in education for nearly a decade. I am the parent of the most amazing four near adult children. I bring a holistic perspective to my roles, based on my experience as a military spouse and educational background in psychology.

Learning never ends.

This brings me to the purpose of my blog.  I want us to examine and perhaps try to answer some of the bigger questions like: How can we come together to create a brighter educational path for the future? I cannot see a functioning system that does not acknowledge the power of quality educators and their relationship with their students, families, and community as a whole. Educators that are not just pedagogical but humanistic in perspective.
